In line with its commitment to promote educational development in Malta, Bank of Valletta recently donated a series of educational books to a number of schools and local councils in Malta.

The beneficiaries include St Sebastian Primary School in Qormi, the Mariam Al Batool Centre in Fgura, Sir M.A. Refalo School in Victoria, Mcast in Paola and Fgura council.

Education features strongly in BoV's community programme, which each year sees a percentage of profits being given back to the community through the support of various initiatives directly benefiting the community.

The book donations form part of the bank's ongoing commitment to provide tangible support towards local communities.

The books donated will help encourage readers make more use of the services offered by schools and local councils, opening up more learning opportunities at school level and on a wider scale for society at large.
