Bank of Valletta is sponsoring Joe Friggieri's latest publication Zewg Drammi, which contains two plays, Tkun darb'ohra Mikelang and Trappisti written by Professor Friggieri and performed at the Manoel Theatre in 2000 and 2002, respectively.
The sponsorship was presented by Bank of Valletta chairman Joseph F.X. Zahra to Professor Friggieri.
Congratulating Professor Friggieri for his achievement, Mr Zahra wished the publication the same success met by the performances. "We at the Bank of Valletta have decided to support this publication because it throws light on Maltese life and society.
"Bank of Valletta is continuously seeking opportunities to assert its active role within the community, and to support those artists who enhance the quality of life by their work."
The publication features coloured photos by Darrin Zammit Lupi.
