A teenage boy was yesterday given a six-month jail term suspended for four years and fined Lm100 for stealing a car and breaching a probation order.

The 16-year-old boy pleaded guilty to stealing Charles Saliba's Austin Mini from St Julians, driving without a licence and insurance policy, driving dangerously and recklessly, causing over Lm50 damage to the car and breaching the probation order on February 15.

Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted.
