Brazil have denied reports that they have given Barcelona playmaker Ronaldinho permission to skip the Confederations Cup in June.
"The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) informs that it has not released any player from the Confederations Cup in Germany between June 15 and 29," the CBF said on its website.
"The reports that Ronaldinho had been excused by the Brazil team coaching staff are not true," it added in response to media reports the player would be taking part in an excursion with Barcelona instead.
"No club has come to the CBF asking for players to be released. The CBF's position is that it will take the Brazil first team to the Confederations Cup. Any alternation will be caused only by a technical decision."
In March, the CBF denied a report on Real Madrid's website that Ronaldo would be rested from the eight-nation tournament.
