Aspiring footballers in Gary Neville's Soccer School may get their first taste of fame.

Both The Manchester Evening News and Sky Sports News are covering the school. Sky Sports News are filming at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in Hamrun this week. The footage will be aired every day on Sky Sports News on the hour, from 7 a.m. till 11 p.m., till next Saturday.

Besides comments by Gary Neville, the three-minute clip will include shots by potential future players during training sessions and, hence, tomorrow's footballers may be able to watch themselves taking a pot-at-goal on TV for the first time.

Two established international football magazines, Match and Four Four Two, have also taken an interest in the aspiring footballers and they too have sent journalists to do write-ups on the soccer school, now in its fourth year.

It is hoped that the attention to the up-and-coming Maltese stars, the exposure the school has generated for Malta and the continuing growth in its popularity would also serve as an incentive for local authorities and possible sponsors to back the event.
