Works on the 341 apartments that will form the Fort Cambridge development in Tigne' is on target for completion next year, the company has reported. The fitting out of apartments in the south block has been completed up to the sixth storey, while the other blocks have reached the fifth.

The south block will be 11 storeys high will the other blocks will range from 14 to 20 storeys.

The first residents are expected to move into the south block by the end of this year.

The company said that in view of the global recession, sales activity within the property market was expected to remain sluggish, but challenging.

It said that enquiries for sales remained ongoing, despite the economic downturn, and the company was seeing 'a steady progression' from enquiries towards actual negotiations, with a moderate number of preliminary agreements being reached.

However, in order to give impetus to the company's sales strategy, a new marketing plan has been formulated for 2010.
