A 20-year-old bus driver and his 18-year old brother, who is a ticketing inspector, have been charged with the attempted murder of another bus driver in Qawra.

Ivan Sultana and his brother Jesmond, of Cospicua are pleading not guilty to the attempted murder of Silvio Camilleri and to seriously injuring him with a hatchet on November 30.

Magistrate Saviour Demicoli, who is presiding the case, ruled that there were enough reasons for Ivan and Jesmond Sultana's indictment.

Police Inspectors Christopher Pullicino and Joseph Mercieca are prosecuting.

Dr Noel Camilleri is appearing for the Sultanas.
