The Malta Institute of Management (MIM), in collaboration with Malta Enterprise, recently organised a seminar entitled 'The Business Promotion Act (BPA)', at the Trade Fair Grounds in Naxxar.

The seminar provided an opportunity to obtain interesting information on the subject, and discuss it with two qualified operators in the field.

The seminar kicked off with a brief introduction about MIM's commitment to develop and deliver management practices in Malta, which are among the best in the European Union. The two speakers at this seminar were George Francalanza, head - Client Relationship Management and Paul Baldacchino, head - Enterprise Support, from Malta Enterprise.

Both gave a comprehensive overview of the BPA as it stands today, outlining the various incentives and fiscal benefits that are available under this Act.

An important factor that emerged from the seminar was the role Malta Enterprise is playing, and will continue to play, with regard to the BPA.

Malta Enterprise is striving to revamp the Act to make it more practical and accessible to all companies that want to avail themselves of the benefits under this Act.

The two-hour seminar was well attended, and encouraged the institute to organise similar interesting activities for the benefit of its members.
