The National Blood Transfusion Centre has issued an urgent appeal for blood of all groups, as the number of donors decreases during summer, even though the number of accidents increases.

Anyone who feels healthy, is aged 18-60 years (17 years with parents' consent), may call at the National Blood Transfusion Centre near St Luke's Hospital daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Further information may be obtained on internet.

Donors should present their ID card.
