The Union Haddiema Maghqudin has told Maltapost that no drastic changes affecting its workers should be made by the company before the settlement of pending issues on working practices, the complement of workers and job security.

The union urged the company to create new work opportunities for its workers instead of reducing their number.

It was not fair for restructuring to be imposed within a few months to the detriment of the workers after this had been ignored for 10 years, the union said.
