A six-film series shot in Malta will start airing on Canale 5 on Wednesday at around 9.15 p.m.
The Malta Tourism Authority said the six thrillers, each 100 minutes long, were shot in Malta through the assistance provided by the authority between 2010 and last year.
Italian television production company Leader Films, in association with Mediaset and Dolphin Entertainment, entered into a distribution agreement with Sony Pictures Studios to co-produce the.
The first episode Presagi, will be followed by the other films in the series over the following five weeks.
The episodes' scripts are also Malta-based, ensuring a vast exposure in all six films; a factor which is given the utmost priority by the MTA when considering assistance for similar projects.
The films feature both exterior locations as well as the interiors of a number of prestigious houses and buildings in Malta.
The Sei Passi Nel Giallo series features a cast of prominent Italian and international actors and actresses including Kevin Sorbo, Andrea Osvart, Rob Estes, Clayton Norcross, Jane Alexander, Daniele Pecci, Paolo Seganti, as well as a host of Maltese actors, including Edward Mercieca, Paul Portelli, Ninette Micallef and Isabelle Warrington.
The series is directed by popular director Lamberto Bava and his son Roy Bava.
