A 74-year-old man was seriously injured on Monday afternoon when a car crashed into the front garden of a house in Siġġiewi.

The police said the accident happened at 5.30pm in Triq Blat il-Qamar. The man, from Zebbuġ, was a passenger in the car.

The driver, a 23-year-old from Zabbar, was unhurt.
