A car was destroyed by fire in Xemxija this warning by arsonists who were apparently fed up by dogs' barking, according to a neighbour.
This was the second such arson attack on cars in as many years, and in both cases, warnings about the dogs' barking were found.
Graffiti about the dogs was scribbled on a wall three months before the first car - belonging to dogs owner Mari Collyer - was set on fire two years ago.
A similar warning about the dogs' barking was found written on a can hanging on a fence nearby.
It is not clear when it was placed there, but Ms Collyer said a neighbour told her he saw the warning three days ago.
She claimed the vandalism was "definitely" related to the scribbled warnings.
"I think it is a psychopath and these are his messages," she told Times of Malta.
She pointed out that two years ago in February somebody set fire to fence covering on her property and then set fire to power cables outside her apartment building.
A forensic expert had confirmed that her car was the target of an arsonist, she said.
It is too early to confirm that today's incident was arson, although she said the same fire pattern was observed.
"It is just insane, somebody is insane," said Ms Collyer, who moved to Malta from Ireland eight years ago.
She admitted that the dogs could be noisy sometimes, but not excessively, she said. She also said that neighbours never complained to her or to the police about the sound.
It is the fourth car which is known to have gone up in flames in less than a week.
