A 12-hour car wash organised by the Gozo branch of the Malta Red Cross on Tuesday at the Arkadia parking lot raised Lm135, a spokesman for Red Cross Gozo said.

The money will be used for the purchase of a generator for disaster response.

Over 60 cars were washed and cleaned in the event.
