Officials from the Government Property Division today affixed eviction notices on some 100 caravans at a site in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq.

A spokesman for the division said this was not an official campsite and constituted abuse of public land.

He warned that unless the caravans were removed within two days, they would be removed by enforcement officers.
