It was lovely to read about a place like the Danish Village. It blends into the environment and the way they look after the cats that live there is wonderful. They put the attitude of many Maltese hotel and complex owners to shame.

Hotel owners, those responsible for council parks etc should neuter the cats that live there. Cats are always an attraction to tourists as are all animals. Pity then we have no birds to see!

Animal societies would help, I am sure. I feed the cats at San Anton five days a week but cannot neuter them all. My cats are all neutered and the strays in my area, which I also feed, will slowly be neutered as they start to trust me more.

Well done, Danish Village. I would recommend you to everyone I know. As Gandhi said "a nation is judged by the way it treats its animals".

So true. Then so is a government...
