Sea Malta's cargo ship Maltese Falcon has completed an intermediate survey at the Malta Drydocks, in line with the class requirement to ensure the vessel's structural and mechanical reliability.
The survey follows a previous one carried out on the Zebbug two months ago.
Company chairman Marlene Mizzi said that because it was so important for trailer operators and industry to count on a reliable schedule, Sea Malta was making every effort to maintain the punctuality of arrivals and departures.
"This can only be ensured through the regular and costly servicing of our vessels, an effort that forms part of our commitment to offer an edge in the service we provide to all our clients," Mrs Mizzi said.
Purchased in 1999, the Maltese Falcon is the fastest and largest ship ever owned by Sea Malta and operates the Malta/Tunis/Genoa/Marseilles/Genoa route.
All repair works were carried out at Malta Drydocks under the supervision of an appointed technical team from Sea Malta's ship management division.
