The Electoral Commission yesterday received a nomination for Joseph Bondin to fill a vacancy in the Tarxien local council, through a casual election. Another nomination for Rudolph Marmarà was submitted on Wednesday.

The post become vacant following the resignation of Nationalist councillor Jesmond Manicaro.
