The Malta China Friendship Society has decided to use a large hall at its premises in Valletta as a centre for art activities.

Yoga practice and Tai Chi lessons are already organised every week at the centre and the society has now decided to use it for art exhibitions.

The first exhibition of paintings and installations will be by Joe Barbara. It will be inaugurated on May l6 at 7.30 p.m. by Chinese Ambassador Yang Guirong.

The society also plans to organise dancing lessons and an exhibition of Bonsai trees.

Any artists interested to use the society's premises are asked to write to the secretary, Doreen Sammut, at 62a St Christopher Street, Valletta.
