Chamber of Advocates elects new council
Inaugurating his term as president, Louis DeGabriele outlined the chamber's goals for the next three years.
The Chamber of Advocates has elected a new council following recent elections. The newly configured council has a three-year term up until 2029.
Inaugurating his term as president, Louis DeGabriele outlined the chamber's goals for the next three years.
He said the chamber will continue to push for a comprehensive law to regulate the profession, a statutory framework governing professional indemnity insurance and the limitation of professional liability, and to review warrant and practical training structures to reflect the modern world.
De Gabriele takes over from Peter Fenech as president. Fenech will remain in the council but only as a regular member.
