A Balzan man was yesterday charged with assaulting and threatening a superintendent, an inspector, a sergeant and five constables.
Justin Said, 27, pleaded not guilty to assaulting, threatening and slightly injuring a sergeant and a constable in Paceville on Sunday at about 2 a.m., and subsequently assaulting and threatening a superintendent, an inspector and four constables at the St Julian's police station.
He also pleaded not guilty to disobeying police, breaching the peace, uttering obscene words in public and relapsing.
Said was remanded in custody.
Police Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted.
