A 35-year-old man was yesterday charged with the possession of cocaine in circumstances denoting it was not for his personal use.

Carmel Zammit, known as Il-Qus, of Qormi, pleaded not guilty to the possession of the drug on and before July 15, relapsing and breaching the conditions of a previous release.

He was granted bail against a Lm500 deposit.

Police Inspector Pierre Grech prosecuted.

Dr Robert Abela appeared for Zammit.
