A 19-year-old man from Paola was yesterday remanded in custody after being charged with drug trafficking.

Joseph Enriquez was charged with being in possession of cannabis resin in quantities denoting it was not for his personal use and with selling cannabis resin. He was also charged with breaching a conditional discharge given by the court last December.

Dr Malcolm Mifsud appeared for the accused.

Inspector Nezren Grixti prosecuted.
