A 31-year-old Tunisian man was yesterday arraigned on fraud charges.

Amor Maatoug was charged by Inspector Helga Debono with having, in the past month, defrauded four Chinese nationals of Lm4,000. The accused was also charged with being a relapser.

Bail was set by Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera at a deposit of Lm400 and a personal guarantee of Lm1,000.

Dr Franco Debono assisted the accused.
