Charity concert in aid of Tanzania missions to feature Mario Caruana

Public urged to attend and support this charitable initiative, in aid of the church’s missionary work

The Ħamiema Bajda (The White Dove) charity concert will be held on Thursday, July 30, at 8.30pm, in the open-air venue adjacent to Savina Church, St Mary Street, Victoria.

The concert will feature renowned Gozitan singer Mario Caruana, accompanied by his daughter Maria Aquilina Caruana, in an evening of music dedicated to raising funds in support of the Catholic missions in Tanzania.

The programme will also include a presentation by Carmen Formosa, who will represent Gozo during a forthcoming missionary experience in the Arusha region of Tanzania, where she will be carrying out mission work.

The event is being organised by the John Paul II Cultural Foundation and Missio – the Mission Office of Malta and Gozo, in collaboration with Victoria local council.

The organisers are inviting the public to attend and support this charitable initiative, with proceeds going towards the Church’s missionary work in Tanzania.
