Enjoying IT, a Gozo travel, tourism, food and drink fair, will be held this weekend at the Sports Pavilion in Victoria.

The fair is a showcase for cuisine in Gozo. Details were given yesterday during a press conference held at the Coastline Hotel, Salina.

It was addressed by Malta Culinary Association president Martin Camilleri, Gozo Tourism Association secretary Joe Muscat, a representative from the Ministry for Gozo, Mario Camilleri and Paul Vella on behalf of Sign-It, as the main organisers and sponsors.

The event is a fair with a difference since it will also include a competition for Gozitan chefs, Mr Camilleri said. International judges will select four to five chefs who will form part of a Gozitan team to compete at an international event to be held in Turkey next year on behalf of the Malta Tourism Authority.

The fair will open on Friday at 6 p.m. and will run until Sunday at 9 p.m.
