British High Commissioner Vincent Fean has awarded certificates to nine Maltese scholars who obtained a masters degree from universities in the UK in 2004 on a Chevening Scholarship.
Mr Fean also wished good luck to the 11 students who will benefit from the scholarship in the UK later this year.
He also presented a Certificate in Diplomatic Studies from St Anthony's College, Oxford, to Nicole Lungaro Mifsud.
The High Commissioner said the Chevening Alumni Association would like to hear from any people who have carried out an advanced course of study in the UK.

The Chevening Scholars who returned from the UK in 2004 were Christopher Buttigieg, who is now the Secretary of the Chevening Alumni Association, Maria Borg Barthet, Jesmond Manicaro, Susannah Anastasi, Conrad Chircop, Claudia Galea, Nadia Cassar, Sharon Spiteri and Nerissa Sultana.
The students embarking on a Chevening scholarship next October are Raphael Vassallo, Lisa Dunbar Cousin, Danielle Mallia, Karl Falzon, Nadine Sant, Rudi Schembri Galea, Daniel Bianchi, Simona Camilleri, Eric Duca, Robert Ellul Micallef and Justine Benedicte Benoit.
