The 25th Farsons Great Beer Festival will come to a close with more beer and music at Ta' Qali Park. Over the past nine days thousands of people attended the festival.
Music entertainment, tonight starts at 9 p.m. with Chiara performing her latest hits on the Main Stage, followed by Rug (DJ Gianni's Rock outfit). The Rock Stage@World Beers Area will feature popular rock bands Bitterside and Fakawi.
Since 1981, the Farsons Great Beer Festival has lived up to its commitment of staging young Maltese talent and some of the top singers and musicians. The festival has become one of Malta's major events for the whole family. The festive atmosphere, complete with live entertainment and a variety of cuisines, complemented with a large selection of beers produced or imported by Farsons, all ensure total enjoyment for all visitors.
Organiser Matthew Cuomo said: "During the 10 days of the festival, the gardens at Ta' Qali Park become a lively and exciting area with thousands of people enjoying the entertainment on both stages."

A large range of local brews and international beers are being served from 15 different bars. Beer drinkers can choose from an array of great quality beers including Cisk Lager, Blue Label Smooth 'n' Creamy and the new Hopleaf Extra Smooth 'n' Creamy. International beer brands include the award-winning Cisk Export, Carlsberg, Skôl, Budweiser, Guinness, Kilkenny, John Smith's, Beck's and Corona.
The official festival mug has once again been a big hit with visitors. A great souvenir to take back home, this mug can be purchased from all bars and is offered full of the beer of choice.
The festival opens at 7.30 p.m. and is sponsored by Vodafone Malta Ltd, Chev-rolet, Pringles and Surplus and Adventure Equipment Store.
