A Shortcoat Chihuahua, the international and Maltese champion Widogi Rocket Man, won The Best in Show award in the Malta Kennel Club October Championship Show. The dog belongs to Stephen Young.

Reserve Best in Show was a Basset Hound, Champion Clavidar Singapore Sling At Jorico presented by Colin and Rita Pell.

The Best Puppy in Show award went to a Welsh Corgi, Ellhars Favourita entered by Paul Cutajar.

Reserve Best Puppy in Show was a Basset Hound, Sherman Bassjoy Moravia Bray owned by Jeffrey and Sharon Mifsud.

Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen from Finland judged the show.

A Maltese Terrier from the Czech Republic and a Portuguese Podengo from Finland were among the 200 dogs taking part.

The show was held at the Sports Complex in Cottonera over the weekend.
