Children treated to Air Malta flight

Over 150 children from various philanthropic institutions and institutes were yesterday taken on a one-hour flight around Malta and Sicily.

The flight was organised jointly by the Malta Community Chest Fund and Air Malta.

Air Malta sponsored the event and also provided the children with food and drinks during the flight.

President and Mrs Guido de Marco, who are the chairman and deputy chairman of the fund respectively, were on the aircraft with the children together with Air Malta officials.

The MCCF last year distributed a record sum of more than Lm212,000.
