China Food Festival. The festival this year is being held between Friday and January 14 at the Oracle Conference Centre of the New Dolmen Hotel, Qawra.

This came after a suggestion by former Tourism Minister Reno Calleja, president of the Malta China Friendship Society, which is making all the arrangements for the Chinese participation.

China will be represented by two senior chefs, Zhou Deyou and Zhang Yan.

One of the highlights of the Chinese participation will be the making of noodles by hand.

The management of the Dolmen Hotel, with the help of the Malta China Friendship Society, intends to organise a China Night at the Dolmen Hotel during the festival

Other countries taking part in the festival include Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, and Malta.
