Fourteen Chinese students are being hosted by Cospicua council to learn English as part of an exchange programme between Malta and China.

On the days when they do not have lessons, the students are working in local councils, TV stations, Malta International Airport and the Education Ministry.

A cooperation, friendship and exchange agreement was signed in April between Cospicua council and the Yancheng City authorities.

Education Minister Louis Galea met the students yesterday.
