A 20-strong group from the Magdalene College Choir from the University of Cambridge yesterday called on Culture Minister Jesmond Mugliett.

During their stay in Malta, the choir performed at St Patrick's Church in Sliema, the Tarxien Parish Church and St George's Basilica in Gozo. Yesterday, they performed at St John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta. The repertoire includes the Maltese national anthem and Maltese religious hymns.

The choir is visiting Malta on the initiative of Cambridge scholar Fiorella Sultana de Maria.
