Christmas concert at Wardija school

The Christmas build-up at Dun Manwel Attard School, in Wardija, includes a Christmas concert by the students.

Parents, guests and members of staff congregated to sample the entertainment fare on offer.

The students gave all those present a show to remember with an excellent combination of drama and music. The concert consisted of three plays and two musical items. The seven classes prepared the three drama items. Each group involved all the students in their classes throughout the performance.

The concert then moved on to the musical and singing part. The school percussion band also took part.

The last part of the concert brought together the whole school population, including the teaching staff singing a variety of Maltese carols.
