¤ EU citizenship gives you a set of rights and obligations - e.g. right to move and reside in any EU country.

¤ You will no longer be treated as a foreigner in EU countries. You must be treated equally.

¤ You have the right to seek redress if your rights as an EU citizen are breached. Write to the EU institution concerned and your complaint must be investigated.

¤ If you are living in another EU country, you have the right to vote and to contest local council elections and elections of the European Parliament, but not general national elections in that country.
