City Gate gets a floral makeover

Thousands of flowers used in artistic installation

City Gate and the area in front of parliament have been given a floral makeover for the Valletta Green Festival.

An artistic installation featuring thousands of colourful flowers has been set up, stretching from the bridge over the ditch to a giant vase containing a large bouquet.

The installation will remain in place until May 10, Mother's Day.
