A Zebbug man was yesterday acquitted of seriously injuring his nephew after a court ruled that the prosecution had failed to prove its case.

Raymond Baldacchino, 42, was found not guilty of seriously injuring Adrian Baldacchino in the left eye in Victory Street, Qormi, on December 30, 2000.

He was also found not guilty of causing less than Lm300 damage to the nephew's Peugeot.
