Collective agreement

The Union Haddiema Maghqudin yesterday signed its first collective agreement at the Employment and Training Corporation.

The agreement was signed following a series of talks between the union, the ETC and the collective bargaining unit. ETC employees will benefit from increased salaries and new working conditions, the union said.

The agreement, signed by the union's section secretary for public sector employees, Jesmond Bonello, and ETC chairman Robert Tufigno, after it was approved by workers, is backdated to January last year and remains effective for three years.
