I refer to the article "Pinto Stores get colourful façade" (December 17) in which it was stated that the colours on the apertures and doors were carried out in agreement with the planning directorate. It must be clarified that there existed no formal agreement in this respect. Whatever the planning directorate officials recommend is subject to a final decision at board level and this will have to be done through a formal development application.
