Lawyer Cynthia Galea and TV presenter and content creator Sarah Bajada are two smart, accomplished women but this summer they had to put some of their personal lives and careers aside to support their partners, who are running to be the country's next opposition leader and - they hope - the next prime minister.
Galea, who is Adrian Delia's partner, and Bajada, Alex Borg's partner, opened up for the first time about their personal family lives amidst the heated PN leadership campaign in an interview on Times Talk.
In the episode which will be released soon, they spoke about everything from challenges in their personal careers to the logistical puzzle of finding time to spend with their partner during the campaign, and their fierce dedication in supporting their partners' political aspirations.
They talk about how their relationshps began, on what advice they give their partners, what worries them the most about political life and how they settle arguments.
They also shared their initial reactions when their partner told them he wanted to run.
