¤ A Gozo Motor Show is being organised by Kercem Ajax FC at Villa Rundle Gardens, Victoria, today from 8 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. Gozitan motor dealers will be exhibiting the latest car and vehicle models. There will also be tractor models, motorcycles, car care products, hand and electric tools and plants and flowers. A fashion show by La Femme Boutique will take place in the afternoon, followed by a performance from Freddie Portelli.
¤ The feast of St Joseph the Worker is being celebrated in Xaghra today.
Concelebrated Mass, with the participation of the Schola Cantorum Jubilate will be said at the Basilica of Our Lady of Victory, at 8.30 a.m. Archpriest Mgr Eucharist Sultana will concelebrate Mass, with the collegiate chapter and clergy at 5 p.m. Mgr Joseph Carabott will deliver the panegyric.
The procession with the statue of the saint, accompanied by the Victory Band and Nativitas choir, leaves the church at 6.30. The procession will end with the antiphon and a Eucharistic celebration.
