¤ The feast of Divine Mercy is being celebrated in Fontana today.

The parish priest, Fr George Bezzina, will lead a concelebrated Mass at 4.30 p.m., with the participation of the Chorus Urbanus. The procession with the statue of the Risen Christ, accompanied by La Stella Band, leaves the church at 5.30. At the end of the procession children will be presented with a memento.

¤ A family feast fair is being held at a Ghadira in Kercem, today from noon onwards. There will be games and various prizes to be won.

¤ The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is being shown at the Don Bosco Oratory in Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

¤ The eighth Arts for Charity exhibition, in aid of the Gozo Eden Foundation, is being held at 104, Republic Street, Victoria till today. The exhibition features 350 paintings and sculptures as well as 150 pieces of antique furniture. Donations will be collected at the entrance.

¤ A coffee morning is being organised by the Cathedral parish church at Crystal Palace in Marsalforn on Tuesday. Transport from Savina Square, Victoria leaves at 8.45 a.m. Tickets, at Lm1.25 from Grace Debono on 2155-1460 or Coney Island Bar (2155-1289).

¤ Activities to celebrate Zebbug Day are being organised by the local council from Wednesday to April 28. They include pool competitions, bowls and bicycle races and athletic events. There will be an exhibition featuring various works and Zebbug traditions and an animal blessing ceremony with the participation of the Santa Marija Band and outings for the elderly. A thanksgiving Mass will also be celebrated, followed by the Gieh iz- Zebbug award ceremony.

¤ A Maltese Night is being held at the Leone Band Club on Friday at 7.30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by folk groups with special guest Hector Bruno. There will also be tombola and traditional Maltese food will be on sale. ¤ A buffet lunch is being organised by the Gozo Cancer Club on Sunday at noon. Tickets at Lm6 for adults and Lm3.50 for children aged five to ten may be obtained from Joyce Rapa on 2155-1258. Children under five are free.

¤ A plant and flower exhibition is being held at the Villa Rundle Public Gardens on Sunday.

¤ A car boot sale, in aid of the Friends of the Sick and the Elderly is being held a Marsalforn Car Park on Sunday from 9 a.m. onwards. Entrance is Lm3 per car.
