The feast of St Andrew is being celebrated at Fontana today. Vespers will be sung at 3.30 p.m., followed by concelebrated Mass, led by Bishop Nikol Cauchi, at 3.45. Bishop Cauchi will also deliver the panegyric.

The procession, with the statue of the saint, led by Mgr Joseph Bajada and accompanied by the La Stella Band, leaves the church at 4.45. The procession will end with a sacramental blessing. The choir and orchestra will be led by Mro Carmelo P. Grech.

A car boot sale is being organised by the Friends of the Sick and the Elderly at Masalforn car park, today from 9 a.m. There is a fee of Lm3 per car.

The second annual book fair, organised by the Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria, is being held at the exhibition hall, on St Francis Square, Victoria, from Thursday to the following Monday. The fair will be open during the week from 8 to noon and 2 to 4 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 5 to 7.30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
