¤ The 40th Diocesan congress, on the theme "We are witnesses for Christ", ends today at St George's Basilica, Victoria, with concelebrated Mass led by Bishop Cauchi at 8.30 a.m.

A cortege of priests and lay people, with the participation of the Victoria Boy Scouts and La Stella Band, will leave St Francis Square, today at 5.15 p.m., followed by a pageant on St George's Square at 6 p.m.

¤ Gozo Lace Day is being organised by the University of Malta - Gozo Centre, at the centre in Mgarr Road, Xewkija, today from 9.45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Minister Giovanna Debono will be the guest of honour. The event will include a lace exhibition, demonstrations and a lecture on evaluation of Maltese lace.

¤ The Arts for Charity exhibition in aid of Eden Foundation, is being held at 104, Republic Street, Victoria, from today till next Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.

¤ An Ideal Home exhibition, organised by La Stella Band Club in collaboration with local exhibitors, at the Astra Theatre, Victoria, will be open till today, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 9 p.m.

¤ The traditional fair feast is being organised by Kercem's feast committee at L-Ghadira ta' San Raflu, today from noon. There will be children's activities, lottery raffles and clay-pigeon shooting.

¤ High tea in aid of the feast of Our Lady of Victories, is being held at Villa Fiorita, Marsalforn, today. Transport leaves Victory Square, Xaghra, at 3 p.m. Tickets are available from the helpers or by phoning 2155-0450 or 9982-6367.

¤ World Day of Prayer by Catholic Women with the theme "Blessed are the Merciful" is being celebrated at the Catholic Action's headquarters in Sir Arturo Mercieca Street, Victoria, on Tuesday at 8.50 a.m., followed by Mass led by Bishop Nikol Cauchi.

¤ Prayer meetings are being organised by the Bethel Charismatic Group, led by Fr George Bezzina, at Fontana parish church, on Saturday at 7.30 p.m., and by the Diocesan Eucharistic Movement, led by Mgr Rosario Borg, at the Good Shepherd church, Victoria, on Saturday at 8.30 p.m.
