¤ Activities to round off week-long celebrations commemorating the 1,700 anniversary of the martyrdom of St George are being held today.

Marches by La Stella Band will be held at 7.45 a.m., followed by pontifical concelebrated Mass led by Cardinal Anton Maria Javierre Ortas at 8.30 a.m., and band marches at 10.15 a.m.

A piano duo recital by Charlene Aquilina and Valerie Ann Fenech, will be held at the Aula Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia of the basilica at 7.30 p.m. Entrance is free.

¤ The coffee morning in aid of the Missionary Society at Villa Fiorita, Marsalforn, has been postponed.

¤ The 40th Diocesan congress entitled "Ahna Xhieda ta' Kristu" is being held at St George's church, Victoria, from today. The congress ends on the basilica's square next Sunday at 5.30 p.m.

¤ The Arts for Charity exhibition in aid of the Eden Foundation is being held at 104, Republic Street, Victoria, till Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.

¤ Concelebrated Mass to mark Sannat Day, with the participation of the parish choir, will be held tomorrow at 7 p.m. A football tournament is being organised at Sannat football gound on Sunday at 9 a.m.

¤ An Ideal Home exhibition is being organised by La Stella Band Club in collaboration with local exhibitors, at the Astra Theatre, Victoria, from Thursday to Sunday.

¤ The Legion of Mary in Gozo is holding the annual Marian Song Festival at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are available from the Legion's headquarters, St Augustine Square, Victoria, from 5.30 to 6.30 p.m. A block ticket for the two shows is available at a special price. ¤ Short courses offered by the University of Malta - Gozo Centre in collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo:

Coping with Negative Emotions, an eight-session course spread over three weeks, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology at the University of Malta, starting on Friday.

Basis of Medicine, consisting of seven two-hour weekly sessions, every Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., commencing on Friday.

Word-processing and spreadsheets for office work, an eight-week course co-ordinated by Frank Tabone, starting on May 6. Lectures will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Internet and Website creation, a four-week course co-ordinated by Saviour Formosa, starting on May 9. Lectures will be held on Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m.
