¤ The feast of the Immaculate Conception is being celebrated at Qala today.

Concelebrated Mass with panegyric led by Bishop Nikol Cauchi is being held at 9.15 a.m.

At 1.30 p.m. the traditional motorcade leaves Ta' Pinu Sanctuary Square for Qala Sanctuary, where the vehicles will be blessed by Archpriest Carmelo Refalo on the square.

Solemn vespers at 4 p.m. will be followed by a procession with the statue of Our Lady with the participation of the Ite ad Joseph Band.

The celebrations will be aired on Lehen il-Qala, 106.3 FM.

¤ The feast of the Immaculate Conception will also be celebrated in Victoria, at St Francis of Assisi church.

The traditional horse and donkey race will take place in Republic Street, Victoria, at 8.30 a.m.

Concelebrated Mass, led by the vicar-general, will be held at 9.30 a.m., with a panegyric by Canon Carmelo Attard. The Laudate Pueri Choir led by Fr George J. Frendo will take part.

Fr George Attard will celebrate Mass at 4.15 p.m., followed by solemn vespers at 5 p.m. A procession led by Mgr Salv Debrincat with the participation of La Stella Band, will be held at 5.45 p.m.

The Mnarja Band will give a concert on St Francis Square at 6.30 p.m.

The celebrations will be aired on Lehen il-Belt Victoria, 104.0 FM.

¤ A book fair, organised by the Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria at the Exhibition Hall of the Gozo Ministry, on St Francis Square, Victoria, will be open till today, from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

¤ A bazaar, organised by the Gozo Cancer Club, is being held at MUSF Club & Bar, Palm Street, Victoria, till Sunday, from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 4.30 to 7 p.m.

¤ Jimmy Neutron - Boy Genius, is being shown at Don Bosco Oratory, today at 5.30 p.m.

¤ The liturgical feast of St Lucy is being celebrated at Santa Lucija on Friday.

Various activities, with the participation of Benny, Tonia and Joe, and Monika Farrugia, are being organised at the centre tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7.30 p.m. Tombola will also be held.

¤ A Leonardo da Vinci information seminar, to discuss projects - particularly the Mobility and Pilot Project measures - and their beneficiaries, is being organised at L-Imgarr Hotel on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To participate, contact Astrid Jenkins on 2125-5664.

¤ A half-day seminar on "Banking History and Regulation", is being organised by the University of Malta's Gozo Centre, on Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m.

The tutors are John Consiglio, lecturer in Banking Regulations and European Banking at the University of Malta, and Dr David Fabri, director of Legal and EU Affairs at MFSA.

¤ The Republic Day ceremony in Gozo, presided over by Minister Giovanna Debono, and with the participation of the Police Band, will be held on Independence Square, Victoria, on Friday at 6.15 p.m.

¤ Youth for Charity, a concert in aid of Dar Guzeppa Debono, is being organised by Grupp Universitarji Ghawdxin (GUG) at Ninu Cremona Complex, Victoria, on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. The concert, which will consist of dance, drama, music and a performance by the Voices Choir, is supported by the Ministry for Gozo, the Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sport, the Gozo Diocese, the Cultural Council, the Gozo Business Chamber, local councils and Magro Group.

There will be no entrance fee, but a donation will be appreciated.
