The feast of Our Lady of Loreto is being celebrated in Ghajnsielem today.

Mass will be celebrated on the hour from 5 to 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 4.45 and 5.45 p.m.

Pontifical concelebrated Mass, led by Gozo Bishop Nikol Cauchi with the panegyric delivered by Guardamangia parish priest Fr Michael Camilleri, will be held at 9 a.m.

Horse and donkey races will be held at 1.30 p.m.

Solemn vespers will be held at 6.30 p.m., followed by a procession, led by Mgr Gregory Grech, with the participation of the St Joseph band, at 7.30 p.m.

The La Stella and Santa Margerita Bands, directed by Fr Gwann Galea, will perform music by Mro Carlo Diacono on Ghajnsielem's main square at7.30 p.m. There will also be fireworks display.

Bambinafest, an evening of singing and dance, with the participation of children from Xaghra, is being held on the square near the windmill in Xaghra today at 7 p.m.

The Victory Band, directed by Mro Joe Galea with the participation of Andrew Sapiano, Albert Buttigieg, Rita Dimech, Sylvana Bonello and the Nativitas Choir, is performing on Victory Square, Xaghra, on Wednesday at 8.30 p.m.

The feast of the Nativity of Our Lady is being celebrated in Xaghra this week.

The Leone Band will perform marches at 9 p.m. and the Victory and Precursor bands will perform marches on Friday at 9.30 p.m.

A meeting for those interested in doing voluntary work with the missions, organised by the Gozo Missionary Group, is being held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Seminary, Victoria, on Saturday at 5 p.m.
