The feast of St John Bosco is being celebrated in Victoria today. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will celebrate Mass at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel at 9 a.m. A parade of horses and ponies will leave St Francis Square at 9.45 a.m. for St Augustine's Square where the blessing of pets will take place. Archpriest Paul Cardona will lead a solemn Mass at 4.30 p.m. followed by a procession with the statue of St John Bosco. The La Stella Band of Victoria will take part. The Gozo Youth Wind Band and Orchestra will present the Don Bosco Grand Concert at the Don Bosco Oratory Theatre at 7.30 p.m. Entrance is free.
The Ladies Circle of The Sacred Heart Minor Seminary will be organising a coffee morning at the main hall of the seminary on Thursday at 9 a.m. Tickets at €3 can be obtained from the members and from the school.
KDZ will be holding a meeting for Gozitan youths who work or study in Malta at the University chapel, Msida, on Tuesday at 7.15 p.m. Fr Raymond Portelli of Nadur will be the main speaker.

The Gozo Sports Complex will be organising a healthy eating seminar for children on Saturday between 10 a.m. and noon. A nutritionist will speak about good practices for a healthy diet, obesity and exercise. The seminar will be followed by a food demonstration.
