• Night at the Museum 2 will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

• The feast of St Lucy will celebrated at Santa Lucija today. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a Pontifical concelebration at 9 a.m. Solemn vespers will be sung at 4 p.m. followed by the procession with the ex-voto statue of St Lucy with the participation of the Leone Band. A Mass of thanksgiving will be said at 6.30 p.m.

• An artistic crib by Charles Camilleri of Nadur will be on show at the Banca Giuratale today between 9 a.m. and noon. It will remain open until January 3, Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 9 a.m. and noon.

• Colori di Sicilia, a collective art exhibition by eight Sicilian artists, will be open at the Cittadella Centre for Culture and Arts today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The exhibition, which remains open until January 4, will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

• 'Carols by Candlelight' will be held at St Augustine's Monastery, Victoria, on Friday at 7.30 p.m. The event is being organised by Schola Cantorum Jubilate and is in aid of Dar Guzeppa Debono.

• The MUSEUM Centre of Nadur will be presenting the musical Skrug at the MBC Theatre, Nadur, on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. The music is by Antoine Theuma and the lyrics by Joe Camilleri.

• The Victoria Scout Group will be organising a Christmas dinner at the Hotel Calypso on Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets (adults €22, children up to 12 years €10) are available from the Scout leader Lorrie Saliba on 7939 8928 or the Scouts headquarters on 2155 6497 until Thursday.

• The Padre Pio Prayer Group of Victoria will be holding a prayer meeting at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces, Victoria, on Friday at 5.30 p.m. After the meeting, all members present will be invited for a get together.

• The Gozo SPCA will be holding a Christmas fair at the Victoria bus terminus today from 10 a.m. There will be SPCA fundraising stalls selling 2010 calendars, Christmas cards, homemade cakes, biscuits and preserves. Children can enjoy bouncy castles and go-karting and have their faces painted. Entertainment will be provided. The special Christmas offer of free dog neutering vouchers by Dogs Trust Malta will be available. People will be able to see the resident kittens and dogs at the SPCA shelter.
