• Young Russian soprano Inara Biyusova gives a concert at Nadur council hall today at 6 p.m. She will be accompanied on the piano by Svetlana Bodiuol in her interpretation of Dvorak's Stabat Mater, Mozart's Requiem, and Russian folk music, among others. The concert is being held under the cultural agreement between Tver in Russia and Nadur council, in collaboration with the Russian Cultural Centre. Ms Biyusova will also sing during Mass at St Peter and St Paul basilica, Nadur, today at 9.30 a.m.

• Theology courses for the laity continue at the Sacred Heart Seminary, Victoria, on Wednesday at 5 p.m. with talks by Bishop Grech and Fr Frankie Bajada.
